Our Capabilities
In our continuous pursuit to modernise and professionalise Hai Sia, we embarked on a series of renovation and upgrading works in 2016. Phase 1 of the renovation saw Hai Sia rebuilding our processing plant.
Today, our processing plant boasts several state-of-the-art capabilities – close to 100% stainless steel interior, energy-saving LED lightings, anti-slip flooring with specially designed coved corners and an environmentally-friendly heat recovery system. Beyond the facades, there are two driving forces underpinning the motivation of rebuilding our processing plant – efficiency and hygiene. With optimised temperature control and a reorganisation of workflows, we strive to value-add through quality and speed.
Alongside our newly minted processing plant, some of the services that Hai Sia provides include extensive seafood processing, year-round product delivery for trusted cold chain management (in fact, the only day we cease delivery is on the first day of the Lunar New Year), -40°C contact freezing, high volume vacuum-packing and cold room rental.
We are also vested in the academia sphere, and would like to be involved in project collaborations and partnerships. We welcome all institutions and the community at large to drop us a note.
